There are three transportation options to Pittsburgh International Airport: taxis, buses, which is the only mode of public transportation available, and car rental.

Bus

Considering traffic, travel from the city centre to the airport with a bus varies from 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes. Bus departure times vary between weekdays and weekends. The buses usually operate from 05.50 until 00.25.

Car Rental

In addition to getting a taxi in person once you exit the terminal you can also book a taxi online, through the app, or over the phone. The company offers an executive fleet of Mercedes for those who want to upgrade to use this service. They also feature vehicles that can hold up to 8 passengers. The company does not charge any additional fees such as baggage fees.

Bus

You can get to the city center from the airport via the Flying Tiger Bus vehicles, a cooperative bus company in the city. Buses are a more economical alternative compared to other methods of transportation. Buses to the city depart from the bus stops at the terminal. These buses are equipped with free internet access and real time bus information, which make traveling to the city by bus even more convenient. Bus line 757 operates every day, running once an hour in the evenings and every 30 minutes during the day. These buses run less frequently on Sundays.

Rental Car

Renting a car is another convenient transportation alternative to get to Leeds from the airport. It is a great option to explore the beauty of the city and its surroundings.
