Washington, the US capital, is one of the cities that attract the most tourists. It is also a city directly connected to the federal state. Famous for the White House, where US presidents reside, the city is noted for its planned, parallel and intersecting roads with its large squares and parks. It is a very organized city with a common transportation network.

It is of course very popular to go to White House and visit the Parliament building and take pictures here while in Washington. You can also visit places such as National Mall, Capitol, Lincoln Memorial, National Air and Space Museum, National Natural History Museum where the administrative centers and museums are located. Smithsonian and The Mall may be preferred for accommodation in Washington. But if you want to use the metro more, you can choose the hotels in Dupont Circle and Logan Circle. Washington is located in the sub-cyclic climate zone. The summers are warm and moist, while the winters are warm.

Washington has three airports. The nearest airport is Ronald Reagan Airport and it takes about 15 minutes to get to the city center. Access to the city center from Dulles and Baltimore-Washington International Airport takes approximately 45 minutes. There are bus services from all the airports. You can also rent a car if you wish. For urban transportation, you can choose metro.
